Artwork Guide
Artwork must be provided in a high resolution print ready format.
PDF FILES
This is our preferred format.
When saved correctly, PDF files embed all necessary elements such as imported images and fonts.
PDFs must be in the CMYK. If supplied in RGB it may result in unexpected colour variations.
ARTWORK FILES
We Except the following Applications Indesign, Quark, Illustrator.
Please “package” or “collect for output” the appropriate files, including all relevant images, graphics and fonts.
Please note: We will generate our own PDF from your artwork for you to check.

CHECKLIST
RESOLUTION
Images need to have a resolution of 300dpi. If artwork is generated at a lower resolution, then the quality of the final printed job will be affected.
COLOUR MODE
Convert all full colour files to CMYK, not RGB
If jobs are to be printed in FULL colour please check spot colours are converted to CMYK.
BLEED,CROPMARKS & QUIET BORDER
Both pdfs and artwork files must include a minimum of 2mm bleed.
The extra 2mm on each side of your artwork ensures that your page will not end up with white borders.
Please include cropmarks to indicate where your job is to be trimmed.
Quiet Border of 5mm is recommended (area where no text should appear)

2, 3 & 4 PANEL LAYOUTS
Please supply as spreads
JOBS WITH CUTTING FORMES; INC FOLDERS, BESPOKE SHAPED JOBS
Please take note of the following points on how these jobs are to be supplied.
• Supply as actual size document, Centred, not placed within a larger size document.
• With crop marks and bleed.
• Cutting formes supplied as a separate file.
• Supply a visual of artwork and cutting forme combined
